We are very sad to hear of the passing of Club Patron & cricket enthusiast, the Duke of Edinburgh.
HRH was gracious enough to lend his time to the club on the opening of our nets and is fondly remembered for taking an interest in games, quizzing those waiting to bat in his famously idiosyncratic way.
