This season has been pretty successful so far and with 5 games to go Windsor are top of the League! We will still take each game as it comes as there have been no easy games so far! In fact in Division 7b there have been many surprise results!Yet again the whole team have contributed to the good results so far! Even when we have lost we have picked up a minimum of 12 points!
On the bowling front Ben Lewis has spearheaded the attack and despite having various injuries all season has gone through the pain barrier to pick up many wickets. James Stroud has also picked up valuable wickets with his gentle medium pace whilst Scott Martin and Andy Doree have been pretty consistent as ever. Ben Payne has also chipped in with a few wickets, but has not played many games!
On the Batting side Ray Borg has scored a lot of runs including his first hundred for the club and has proved to be difficult to get out! Steve Ward has come into form recently with 111 against Datchet, whilst there have been valuable contributions from many other players!A number of colts have played this season and Will Harris has already moved up to the 3rd team! Other colts include Ryan Lewin, Gareth George, Kevin Dass and Mckenzie Birmingham.
The next game is away to Wooburn and we will be working hard to hold on to our 23 point lead at the top of the table!It has been a pleasure to captain yet again such an enthusiastic group of guys.
