Highs to Lows…. Total disaster for Windsor

Windsor 79 all out
Cove 79 for 0 (10 overs)

After a great performance last week, Windsor hit rock bottom with possibly the worst performance skipper Thompson has seen from a Windsor side!

After losing the toss Windsor were inserted on a strangely soft wicket, disaster struck 1st ball with the loss of the inform Craig Bird to a great in swinging yorker. This brought Mirza to the crease. Thompson was his normal defiant self, until he fell in the 8th over, this brought the flashing blade of Gould to the crease who looked imperious played great shots of front and back foot. However, he then fell to a great catch in the covers. Another flashing blade came next in the form of Granger, hitting a succession of fours until he hit the ball in the air one to many times and was caught. A collapse ensued until Clarke, Mohindru and Baumgartner dug dig, showing the top order up. They stopped the rot, but only for a little while, Windsor being eventually bowled for a pathetic 79.

The Cove batsmen set about the miserly 79 with little issue, smashing there way to a Win in 10 overs.

Windsor face Chesham next week and will regroup this week with extended training sessions, they know now they have to fight for every point!
